We are heading soon to the season when the iPhone 6 should be launched. We have put together a list of the biggest rumors surrounding the new iPhone including mockups and videos, here is what we know so far about the iPhone 6
The A8 chip is the next generation chip that will be in the iPhone 6, it is 64bit and 20-nanometer system-on-a-chip produced by TSMC. This chip should not only be quick but will also bring great battery life, some of the features will be next generation wireless N as well as greater graphics performance.
There are rumors right now that the display could be curved as we wrote about before here. The most reliable rumors seem to be that the iPhone 6 would be in a similar form factor to the current one, the difference being it will be a 4.7″ screen and the glass will be edge to edge. Check out the video below for a dummy phone mock up that has just leaked out.

Apple is in negotiation with all the major carriers around the world to raise the price of the phone by $100 more, this is due to the fact of the new screen size and the fact the phones screen will be made of Saphire glass. The most likely retail price will be $399 for the 16GB and $100 more for the 32GB.

Apple has invested heavily in Saphire glass, they are trying to make a smart phone which will never require a screen protector, doing so degrades the look and quality of the phone, but it is normally the first thing someone does when they get a new iPhone.
Apple is also looking to make the phone super thin at only 6mm, with the saphire glass they are supposed to be able to achieve this, but it could be a stretch as this is ultra thin.
Also Apple is looking to finally get in to the mobile payment market, Apple has well over 500 million credit cards on file and will make paying on the go very easy. What is more interesting is the new Healthbook app. It is like the Passbook app but it will contain all you personal health data. The new iPhone 6 will be able track your heart rate and blood pressure and many more, it will do this using the headphones that will have sensors in them. Inside the ears are one of the most sensitive places on the human body and a perfect place to measure.
The new OS will be full of updates much of which we will see on June 2-6 in San Francisco
We should see a lot of news coming out from Apple’s WWDC in June, after that the phone won’t be available to the general public until September – October 2014.
