Well, looks like the hackers have done it again. This time they have gotten Siri to run on any device. In theory at least. The guys over at
Applidium reverse engineered Siri so that you won’t even need an iPhone 4S. This has been done before of course by @stroughtsmith and 9to5mac, but the difference is that Applidium shares the tools and the knowledge with you.
Today, we managed to crack open Siri’s protocol. As a result, we are able to use Siri’s recognition engine from any device. Yes, that means anyone could now write an Android app that uses the real Siri! Or use Siri on an iPad! And we’re going to share this know-how with you.
